Don't miss a thing as the Chronicle brings you all the up-to-date news, behind-the-scenes details and stunning photos from the eventing, dressage and show jumping of the Rio Olympic Games.

The U.S. team has a strong chance for gold as veterans Beezie Madden and McLain Ward join Lucy Davis and Kent Farrington on their first Olympic team. But they'll have their work cut out for them with strong teams from France, Sweden and the perennial favorites the Dutch and Germans all in the hunt as well. Follow along on Aug. 14, Aug. 16-17 for team medals, and Aug. 19 for individual medals.
Follow along as Steffen Peters, Laura Graves, Kasey Perry-Glass and Allison Brock do their best to tackle the German juggernaut team and the dominant Dutch. The Grand Prix goes on Aug. 10-11; the Special (with team medals awarded) on Aug. 12 and the freestyle (with individual medals awarded) on Aug. 15.
Clark Montgomery, Lauren Kieffer, Phillip Dutton and Boyd Martin are poised to make a bid for medals on Aug. 6-9 in Rio, but they'll have to figure out how to beat the most successful event rider of our time, Michael Jung, and his German compatriots.
