Robert Dover Rehired As Interim Dressage Canada Technical Coach

Dressage Canada has announced that Robert Dover has been rehired as an interim Technical Coach/Advisor until April 1, 2011, so that Dressage Canada has time to find his replacement.

“We have some very important goals ahead in 2011, and I intend to give 150 percent to ensuring successful outcomes in all of them,” wrote Dover on his website.

Dressage Canada has announced that Robert Dover has been rehired as an interim Technical Coach/Advisor until April 1, 2011, so that Dressage Canada has time to find his replacement.

“We have some very important goals ahead in 2011, and I intend to give 150 percent to ensuring successful outcomes in all of them,” wrote Dover on his website. 

Dover and Dressage Canada were unable to reach an agreement towards a contract extension after Dover’s contract expired in October.

Canada reached its highest placing at a world championship under Dover’s tutelage, seventh at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, as well as a bronze medal at the Nations Cup at CDIO***** Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Dressage Canada is actively searching for a new Technical Leader so that athletes can receive the support they need leading up the Pan American Games this year as well as the 2012 London Olympic Games.
