Robert Dover, Canada’s dressage team coach and technical advisor for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, will not be continuing on for Dressage Canada in 2011.
His contract expired on Oct. 15, 2010, and while efforts were made to extend this contract, the two sides couldn’t reach an agreement due to financial constraints and time commitments.

Dover has ridden in six Olympic Games for the U.S. team, and he led the Canadian dressage team to their highest ever placing at this year’s WEG. Dressage Canada is currently undergoing efforts to keep Dover on in a consultant capacity.
