Swiss Olympic show jumper Steve Guerdat announced via his website on Nov. 8 that his 2012 London Olympic Games gold medal partner Nino Des Buissonnets will retire at the CHI Geneva (Switzerland) on Dec. 11 following his last round there.

Swiss Olympic show jumper Steve Guerdat announced via his website on Oct. 26 that his winning partner from the 2015 Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup Final (Nev.), Albfuehren’s Paille, will be retiring to Hofgut Albführen in Germany. She will enter their breeding program.

The Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament CSIO5* began on Wednesday with first-time wins in the famous International Ring for both Lorenzo de Luca of Italy and Steve Guerdat of Switzerland.

De Luca kept his recent winning streak alive with a victory in the Akita Drilling Cup 1.60-meter class aboard Limestone Grey. Guerdat took the first win of the day riding Albfuehren’s Happiness in the Telus Cup 1.50-meter.
