Matthias Rath and Totilas will make their performance debut in a public exhibition on Feb. 6 and 13 at the Stallion Showcase in Vechta, Germany, according to Rath’s website.

Rath took over the ride on the champion 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood stallion (Gribaldi, Lominka, Glendale) after he was sold to Paul Schockemohle in October of 2010. Since then, Totilas has remained at Schockemohle’s Muhlen, Germany, barn fulfilling his breeding duties. Rath and his father/trainer Klaus Martin travel there from their Kronberg, Germany, home for training sessions.

“I am really looking forward [to the Stallion Showcase], and I’m curious about the reaction of the spectators,” wrote Rath. “In the springtime, Totilas will move into his new home in Kronberg. Our first official show will be at the beginning of the outdoor season.”
