My chickens snuggle up with my dogs. I'm not sure they realize they are vulnerable at all. That one will flop in your lap like a cat.

The hen does like to be where the action is doesn't she?

I'm glad pony is gaining strength.

I'm starting to think I should have an Echo the hen blog. She's our first chicken (we just have two). I didn't realize she was all that unusual. She'll ride my son's skateboard, rolling along. One day, she sat on my foot for an hour and watched him skating. She's a bit dog like.

So relieved you have the pony/mini and that her head is in the grass in nearly every picture...

I'm glad there are other lanky young teen boys that help their moms with odd ball horses and still ride their own-that is good to see...

And now I want to read the chicken blog especially with the skateboard riding, k thanx.

We'll have to work on an Echo blog. We are blessed with critters with, um, unusual personalities. Chris's horses carries stuff around in her mouth all the time - boat anchor, tarp, just whatever oddity she can get her teeth on.

Here she is photobombing Chris's prom picture...

The kids do at least their fair share around here. (We have custody of a niece and nephew.) We have a regular foster horse here right now too - my niece has been riding him, and he is an amazing trail horse. Our horses play basketball, go bike riding, and listen to trombone concerts. They are fully integrated into our family, most definitely.

Our HHT foster, Bugs (aka Crown).

OK I paypaled a little $ to katyb today. After I remembered to do so when I was paypaling my monthy amt. to Kim for Always Funny, our old TB mare in VA.

And now to see if plainandtall still wants any $ sent to vet or sent directly to her for the other pony.

Katyb taking in relatives and taking in horses shows how great she and that hen are.

So if some freezed dried mealworms were going to TN, would they got to Obnoxville (as we UGA grads call it, LOL) or that little town nearby? (I sent some mealworms to RI for another Cother's hen and got her addicted to mealworms.)

    LOL - it's Corryton, actually.

Yeah, I think it's Katy's home for the wayward whatevers here. It's not boring, at least.

She's here - gaining weight and getting a bit too feisty.

Do you think she will stay or are you still planning to send her to Equis? I was going to send a small donation but did not know which one of you to send it to at this point.
