The Spanish Riding School has exemplified the best of classical dressage for over 430 years. Come see why as Herr Schreiner works with horses and riders of all levels and breeds.

Marius helps riders and horses of all levels progress, with an emphasis on rider position and improving the quality of the horse's gaits while doing movements correctly. Upper or lower level, ammie or pro, Marius skillfully brings out the best in his students. Tempis become straighter and more expressive, canter pirouettes become more rhythmic, and horses who are just learning movements such as passage and piaffe develop an understanding of what is being asked with Marius's expert groundwork. Riders with young horses will helped to make sure their horse's training is progressing correctly, and lower level riders develop the feel of throughness & connection as Marius helps them understand how to adhere to correct basics.

Marius is also a firm believer in giving riders tools to progress after the clinic when they are back at home and riding on their own. Although Marius holds the rider to high standards and correct work, he is very kind, encouraging and patient. He is a beautiful rider who has been at the Spanish Riding School for 17 years, and he has private students and horses in training in Austria who compete successfully in the show ring. Marius welcomes questions from auditors and will often ask in-between lessons whether anyone has questions

    RIDER REGISTRATION INFO:
Lesson slots filled on a first payment received, first-served basis. No lessons confirmed without payment.

Clinic will fill quickly; to sign up for lessons, e-mail me the number of lessons you'd like so I can confirm availability and send you registration information (jorie at dressageclinics.org)

Please don't hesitate to email or call me (616.283.4741) if you have any questions. Marius and I look forward to seeing many of you in April!

    Best regards,

    jorie

Oh yikes... Annandale, thank you for catching that!! Too much fast cutting and pasting. Gah.

Yes, the clinic is in Holland at Great Lakes Equestrian Center April 11 - 13, and not at the Cheff Center.

Thanks again - also appreciate your taking the time to post the correct link.

js, where are you? Marius will also be in SC (Bishopville) and FL (Grant and Wellington).

This summer, he and Bereiter Herbert Seiberl will be in more states. And if you think there's enough interest in your area, please shoot me a message or email (jorie at dressageclinics.org) and we can make it happen.

In AL, not close enough to make it a trip I could do, though both are a lot closer than MI. I would only be able to audit as it is, when you factor airline ticket, hotel etc, makes for an expensive weekend. Sadly, it's cheaper to just buy DVDs to watch and try to learn from them, though it's not like being there in person.

js, yep, I understand. We've done clinics in Mobile AL before; hopefully if we do one again that might be close enough for you to be able to go.
