-Walk up slowly to ur horses shoulder, slip the lead rope around his neck slowly so he doesnt spook and put his nose in the halter. Then slowly flick the strap up behind ur horses ears and buckle ther straps on the left side

That made my head hurt. Perhaps it is good advice, but the use of "ur" tips me off that your are a) under 18, b) mistaken about what this forum is for, and c) going to be slammed by the mighty weight of the COTH Bulls**t Squad very shortly.

That sound you hear? My childhood riding instructor, who gave me lessons on ASBs, spinning in his grave.

So that's how some people do it. My horse and I greet each other in the pasture at dawn, as the dew is forming. We bow to each other, and then I leap weightlessly onto his back. We then gallop as one through the magical forest, and the creatures sing us our welcome.

Myself, I just love an occasional good DERP! post. Have even done a few myself.

School is back in session so she should be back at Jr. High showing the smart phone she got for Christmas to all her friends. I'm glad my daughter entertains herself by taking pictures of herself in the bathroom mirror instead of posting on internet forums.

Whatz's a DERP post?

Derp is an expression of stupidity, or a brief loss of the ability to form a coherent sentence, thus it is spoken.
Herp is another form of derp and is normally placed before derp in the form of "Herp derp." An "a" can be added in between to form "Herp-a-derp," which means the same as herp or derp.
It can also be used as a response to when someone says something incredibly stupid, or it can be said by someone who realizes something he or she said was dim witted.
Any other uses from this is improper. Herp, Derp, and Herp-a-Derp should be used in moderation and properly so that it doesn't get bothersome.
