    I dumped my Oster Clipmaster for the Andis Super 2 with T84 blades about two years ago and have not regretted it all. So much easier and gives a better clip.

    I agree with others, you must start with a clean horse. Only thing I do that has not been mentioned is I prefer to clip my horses with their coat still a damp (not wet).

    Those are the clippers I groom dogs with every day. If it will get through a nasty, matted dog coat, I see no reason they wouldn't work beautifully on a clean horse coat.

    I have used 10's and T84's with no problem, a clean horse is a must but I have to give credit to whoever on this board suggested after the bath sponging a very warm water/baby oil mixture, the horse clipped like butter, much better than the year before with just showsheen
