Default Who are the new stallions in the hunter ring?

Having been out of the loop for the past year and a half due to health issues, I was hoping you guys could help bring me up to speed regarding the latest and greatest sires in the hunter ring.

    Thanks for your time,

    Amy

    Default Amazing

Amazing had a very busy breeding season this year, but we still managed to hit two horse shows, and he was Reserve at both. In June, he debuted in the Pregreens, and was perfect. He won a class with an 88, and wound up Reserve out of 28 behind one of Peter Pletchers. I always had faith that he had that quality, but it was so rewarding to see him shine at a big AA show against some top horses.

I can't begin to tell you how thrilled we are with our colt by Amazing. He is everything and more we could have asked for. He is laid back, always happy and willing to do what ever we ask of him and about as sweet as they come. We have breed our mare back for what we hope will be a keeper filly for our farm. The 2014 foals has already been sold as well from this cross. Here is a picture of our boy out of a TB dam

I really like Amazing as well. He looks like he will be a great hunter sire. I also am keeping an eye on Bliss MF and Checkmate.

Don't know if he counts as "new", but Dreamscape Farm's Rubinus has been doing pretty well in Canada.

We are very excited about our five year old stallion, Thanks for the Gold. He is by the legendary Hunter Hall of Fame stallion All the Gold. He has that fantastic jump and floaty movement that his daddy had.

We first collected him this past spring. His first get will hit the ground in spring of 2013.

Below is a link to a hunter derby he won last month.

I bred my big sturdy Riverman/Nimmerdor mare to Checkmate for a likely hunter type foal. Mom was a very accomplished hunter who also was competive in the jumper ring. I just love Checkmate's jump.

Glad to hear things are going better Amy.
