Default Another Great One has Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Jane Brownlow gave us Impulsive in 2003, after competing her successfully at the Advanced levels.
    Our story is here:

Complications of old age, including cushings and arthritis took its toll on Imp and that difficult decision was made.
Farewell, Imp. You loved Jen and you took good care of her. You taught her to be the horsewoman she is. You gave me much anxiety as I worried and fretted over you like a good horseshow mom and barn manager should.
    We miss you.

What a grand old girl - and what a neat story about her second career with your family. She looks so proud teaching your daughter the ropes.

    Condolences and hugs.

    Default RIP Imp

I rode at the same stable as Jane when she and Imp were working their way up the levels in eventing, and admired them both. Imp was the exemplar of my favorite model: bay TB mare, and had tremendous athletic ability and elegance combined with a terrific personality. I'm so glad for her that she shared her life with you and your family, and that you were there to make the hard decision for her when necessary.

Treasure every wonderful memory with her and console yourselves with knowing you always wanted what was best or her.
They don't call me frugal for nothing.
