Default Myler Bits True to Size

The last time I worked with my green bean I noticed that her curved snaffle mouth d-ring was leaving marks on the sides of her face. I think I'm going to take her up to a 5.25 inch mouth but I'm having trouble finding the same style of mouth in that size. I think the 5.5 would have too much play for her liking. The Myler comfort snaffle, level one, regular snaffle mouth with copper inlay looks like what I want but I heard somewhere years ago that the mylers run big. Is this true?

    Default

A rep at an expo a couple weeks ago told me they measure 1/8" bigger than the tag says (so 5" = 5 1/8"). I checked mine and it is. They are roomier so there is bit showing on either side of the face and the cheekpiece isn't pressed against the cheek.
