    Default Duett for jumping

    Hi

I am newish to jumping and am looking for a saddle. I don't expect to go higher than 2'9 or 3'.

I know when I got a dressage saddle and stopped using the A/P my position improved, everything improved.
Would it make that much difference in jumping? I am thinking it would.
I have a Duett companion that I trail ride in, if I shorten the stirrups would it be suitable for the lower heights?

    thanks.

It's built on the Rondo tree, so it should probably be fine. If you feel like you are having a hard time keeping up with your horse once you put the jumps up to 3', think about a replacement. But I wouldn't jump up and buy a new saddle without giving your current saddle a try.
