Default Burnt my lunch while watching the Syracuse invitation: removing smoke smell??

I burnt my dinner while watching the live broadcast of the Syracuse invitational. Some of my clothes now smell like smoke. How do I get rid of this smell easily without having to run everything through the laundry?

    Febreeze??

Or you could just wear all the smelly stuff to the barn...that would take care of the smokey smell!

Febrez and also put the exhaust on in bathrooms w/ open doors and open some windows for a bit to get the smell out of your house.

If your clothes are washable - Simple Green. After a home fire, I ended bringing home a whole bag of clothes, horse pads, wraps, etc. all stained and smelly. Washed them all in Simple Green - not only did the smell go away, but so did a lot of the sooty dirt.
    And nothing bad happened!

Fresh Coffee grounds in bowls around the house gets rid of the most horrible odors. Like skunk smell.

For fabrics get a bag place the item in with 7 oz of fresh grounds in a bowl. Careful not to spill them for a few days. Odor will be gone.

DO NOT USE THE COFFEE afterwards...lol.

Cheap dollar store coffee is wonderful for the job.

Wow Coops - I have never heard that one before. Filing it under 'handy hints' because I have lots of stinky occasions around here!

PS SnicklefritzG - what were you making for lunch???

An air sanitized canister loaded into you fly sprayer works wonders! Janitor supply houses sell individual cans... I burnt my fav soup as I caught a beautiful sunset a few weeks ago! The shot is wonderful!!
