Default Is Virginia Tech having an auction this year?

Isn't it usually about this time of year?

I'm not finding a web page for it.

Hopefully someone from VT will chime in, but I think last year they announced they were going toward private sales & supporting some of the other auctions in the area.

I think they've got one or more in the Professional Auction Services auction later this month at Frying Pan Park.

Makes sense. I do think the sport horse auctions will eventually take off the more people get used to the idea.

I saw 2 two year olds from VT in the auction catalog for the sale next weekend. They have not updated their site since the spring, with NO photos of this years foal crop. I'd think if they wanted to go toward privates sales, they'd have photos and info the second those kids hit the ground!!

I go to VT, there will not be a Hokie harvest sale for the warmbloods this year. There are some VT bred horses in the Professional auction sale on October 23rd. I think the babies will all be sold privately from now on..They are all very nice, I met them all a few weeks ago at the inspection. There may be a hokie harvest horse sale next year with our foundation QH babies that we are breeding now in Blacksburg

Is there any way to find out who purchased a horse several years ago. This would have been one that was in their riding program.
