    Default So excited!

I am going schooling early tomorrow morning at Longwood Farms in Ocala! I cannot wait! And our trainer is bringing a horse for my youngest to ride (I think she is trying to convince us to buy it!), so it will be a fun outing for the 2 of us...even though we are getting up at 4am!

Well we survived! After 3 hours of sleep last night, we were up at 4 am, left the barn at 6 and arrived at Longwood at 8!
Wow! My oldest has schooled there several times without me and has told me about it (she was sooo jealous she couldn't come today!). It is absolutely breathtaking!
We schooled for 4 hours! Holy cow! But with the grandfather oaks to provide shade, the heat was tolerable.
Since we hadn't schooled in a year, we kept everything at bn and novice level. We covered quite a bit! Our trainer brought a lovely prelim schoolmaster for my youngest to ride and it was fun being out there with Amanda!
Tucker was awesome, it was great to see how much he really does enjoy xc.
Well, I will try and write and post pics on the blog in the next day or 2, but I have to go crash now!
