Full Moon Farm - first batch of pictures posted
Ok, we know that Sparky Boy and I are going to be there, and Josey'sMom too. Who else? Divisions? Hopes and fears?
Times are hopefully going up late tonight, and as of this a.m., the weather is high of 50 and clear.
KatyBug and I are going BBN, which is our big move-up from small jumper shows and CTs. Can't wait!

I am entered in Starter Training Rider. I am SOO excited that they are offering this division!! My fear: the "newer" really big ditch at the bottom of the hills...I am sure the rest of my fears will surface after I walk XC and SJ on Saturday.
I know of a few other people that are riding as well - it looks to be a really entertaining day!

Times are up, Putter, and your division is first thing in the a.m. Ouch.
For once in my life I have humane times: 11:22 dressage, 1:10 stadium, 1:40 xc. Very humane.

Mine stink for November but would be great for JULY! Dressage at 9:12AM!

Bring a thermos full of something hot. It's supposed to be partly sunny & 50, keep crossing your fingers.

No problem. I'll just paint a couple extra rails in the Show Jumping pics, so you can claim you went in Prelim.
CanTango: I'm looking for a memory card runner (SJ to our trailer) on Sunday. It doesn't pay much, but if you're going to be there anyway...
Anybody feel free to PM me if you're interested.

RG -- Too funny. Katy might find the BBN fences insufficiently exciting and clear them by about a foot, so there might be room for some image editing......
The last time I rode in an HT, it was this HT, and my horse slipped, dumping me on my shoulder and my head. (explains a bit, right?) So my goal is to complete the day without having to convince the EMTs that I know what day it is.

I was thinking something considerably more than free, or for food. At least gas money.... Even if you drive a big ol' hog like my Suburban.

As much as I despise early morning, the times are convenient because another rider from my barn rides earlier than me! The times work out well so that we can trailer the horses together. I am hoping to finish up, bring the horses home and be back to support other friends in the early afternoon divisions.
After that I will definitely be ready for a nap!

Eeek. According to the National Weather Service, expect 20 mph winds on Sunday.
Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a west wind between 17 and 23 mph.
It will still be wet, but not raining.

Oh boy! I am getting nervous, we've never done this before and I am terrified we are going to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time at some point in the day. Poor hubby has dressage at 9:12 too, Sparky! He does his whole HT in the morning, then I have dressage at 12:12. My pony is gonna be so tired by the time I have to try to convince him to canter in the BBN dressage test. Just look for the big grey horse bucking instead of cantering and that's probably us, lol.
Good luck to everybody tomorrow!

Don't worry, with the wind expected tomorrow, I'm sure you'll see lots of other bucking and leaping horses Everyone hang on!

Have great days tomorrow, folks.
Which BBN division are you in, JoseysMom? (I'm in 5C, competing against my trailer mate, yikes!)

Lori B, I never did see you today.
Joseys'Mom, I stopped to say hi but you were going over your dressage test with your trainer so I didn't want to interrupt. Your guy is pretty cool!
Boy, was it cold!!!

SB, we were tight on time and did very little wandering around / socializing. Remember how I told you to walk XC BEFORE dressage. Well, we ran out of time and had to walk it (or rather, jog it) between dressage and stadium. It was like an added event to the event.
I definitely saw JoseysMom, on the giant gray in my division. He was so cute!! Loki, right? Katy is a 16 hh bay mare, very sweet face, I was the pudgy red-faced blonde woman in a green crash vest & helmet cover, white shirt. Black woof boots on horse w/ green straps.

There will be more pics later, but the father of the girl who trains & trailers w/ me took these and put them up already!

KatyBug and I are pics:
1, 2, 10-14, 26, 27, 28.
Yes, I know, I need to get a new helmet, this one seems to shift all around more than I ever realized, I can see in the pics. Next helmet must fit properly.
