WEG Dressage Selection Trials

Tina Konyot, North Stonington, Conn., increased her lead in the U.S. Selection Trials for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games by sweeping the second Grand Prix, the third of four tests in the Trials, with a 71.31 percent.

After two of four classes in the U.S. Dressage Selection Trials for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, Tina Konyot can feel confident that she’s done everything she could so far to make a place for herself on the team with Calecto V.

August 7, Gladstone, N.J.

Tina Konyot, North Stonington, Conn., captured a commanding lead in the Grand Prix test, the first class of four in the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Grand Prix National Dressage Championship and the Selection Trials for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Her 74.89 percent put her 3 points ahead of Katherine Bateson-Chandler on Nartan (71.87%) and Todd Flettrich on Otto (71.40%).

U.S. Equestrian Federation officials announced the following horse/rider combinations will be participating in the USEF Selection Trials for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Dressage Team, held at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions.  
 
This class will be held as one of five national dressage championships in Gladstone, N.J., over two weekends of competition. The competition runs August 6-8 and August 13-15.
 
The combinations are as follows:
