We asked some of the top riders at the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International their advice on jumping a clear round on a horse that's just run an 8- to 10-minute cross-country course. Click to see their responses!
Boyd Martin has a lot of horses in his barn and if you asked him, Master Frisky would probably not be the one to stand out in a crowd. But the gelding held his own on cross-country day at the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International, tackling Derek di Grazia’s grueling course and showing Martin he’s earned a place near the top of his string.
Victoria Jessop had been grooming for friends at the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International for years, and when she finally came with her own ride, Desert Mystery, to contest the CCI**, she made her name known.

Need a horse to root for at Fair Hill? How about a pony! Sinead Halpin has a 14.2-hand powerhouse of a mare entered in the two-star. “I think it will be interesting. It’s very much a fact-finding mission [to see what she’s capable of]," Halpin said.
Jan Byyny thought she'd lost when she heard the rail fall, but in fact she'd won and claimed a free plane ticket for a horse to Europe.
Allie Blyskal-Sacksen grew up just five miles down the road and used to hack around the Fair Hill property.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and eventer Werner Geven is riding for the cure by donning pink at all his competitions this month.
All the horses presented today at the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill international passed the final horse inspection.
