Eventers Will and Katie Coleman welcomed their first child, daughter Charlotte Wade Coleman, on Aug. 17.
Charlotte was born at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va., at 4:38 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce.

“She’s being a pretty good baby so far,” said Will, 34, Charlottesville, Va. “Mom is doing great. She was incredible during the delivery and was just unbelievably strong and resolute. The birth went off without a hitch, and Katie’s to credit for that, and the doctors and nurses at UVA. Charlotte’s doing wonderfully. She went home from the hospital the day after she was born. So far it’s an incredible addition to our family, and she’s perfect in every way. It’s amazing.”
