What You Need To Know: Maryland 5 Star At Fair Hill

Whether you plan to watch live or online, read on for everything you need to know to follow all the CCI5*-L action from the inaugural Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill, to be held Oct. 12-17 in Elkton, Maryland:

Event Schedule
Wednesday, Oct. 13: The first horse inspection begins for the three-star division at noon and the five-star at 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time
Thursday, Oct. 14: Dressage for the three-star will take place 8 a.m. to noon; five-star dressage will run 1-5 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 15: Dressage continues, once again starting with the CCI3*-L at 8 a.m. before five-star competitors take over at 1 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 16: Cross-country day starts at 9 a.m. with the three-star division scheduled until noon. The five-star cross-country begins at 1 p.m. and should run until 4.
Sunday, Oct. 17:  The second horse inspection begins at 8 a.m. with the three-star jogging first, followed by the five-star. Show jumping for the CCI3*-L will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with riders going in reverse order of placing, followed by an awards ceremony. The five-star is scheduled to jump 1-4 p.m. followed by the crowning of the first winner of the Maryland 5 Star.
