Wellington, Fla.—Feb. 19

A year ago no one had heard of Private Practice. Tori Colvin tacked up the stunning chestnut for the first time to tackle the international ring during World Championship Hunter Rider week at the Winter Equestrian Festival, and he earned himself a spot in $100,000 WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular.

Though “Peter” didn’t place that year, two weeks later he exploded onto the scene by topping the $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby at Deeridge Derby (Florida), and his star power only increased when he won the Platinum Performance USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship (Kentucky).

(You can learn more about Peter in our Behind The Stall Door feature with him.)

“Peter” showed no signs of slowing down when he came back to the Hunter Spectacular this year to take the win (which you can read about here), but you won’t want to miss watching his winning handy round, courtesy of WEF.
