USEF Announces Team For 2024 FEI Eventing Nations Cup Great Britain CCIO4*-NC-S

The U.S. Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce the four combinations from the European Development Tour selected to represent the Defender U.S. Eventing Team during the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Great Britain CCIO4*-NC-S. The event will take place during the Chatsworth International Horse Trials, May 17-19 in Bakewell, England. The U.S. combinations will be led by Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law.

The following combinations have been named to the Defender U.S. Eventing Team and are listed in alphabetical order.

Emily Hamel (Aiken, South Carolina) and Corvett, a 17-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Corrido—Tina XII, Clearway) owned by Black Flag Option LLC and groomed by Jeanna Epping.

Caroline Pamukcu (Springtown, Pennsylvania) and She’s The One, a 9-year-old Anglo-European mare(Jaguar Mail—One To Watch, Condios) owned by Sherry Martin, Mollie Hoff, Andy Hoff, and the rider, and groomed by Chloe Teahan.

• Alyssa Phillips (Fort Worth, Texas) and Oskar, a 15-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Coriando—Nicole,Marlo) owned by Julie Phillips and the rider, and groomed by Adi Mommsen.

• Cassie Sanger (Wilmington, Delaware) and Fernhill Zoro, a 16-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Verdi—Oronia 2, Voltaire) owned by the rider and groomed by Meigs Rutherford.

The competition will begin with the dressage phase on May 17 and 18. Two phases will take place on May 19, with the jumping phase over a course designed by Chris Barnard followed by a cross-country phase over a course designed by Ian Stark.
