Show Jumpers Set To Go After Today’s Horse Inspection

There was minimal drama as the show jumpers jogged in preparation for their first round.

Rio de Janeiro—Aug. 12

Eighty-eight show jumpers were presented at this morning’s horse inspection at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

Four horses were held: Argentina’s traveling reserve Eliot DWS (José María Larocca Jr.), Australia’s Amarillo (James Paterson-Robinson), Switzerland’s Nino des Buissonnets (Steve Guerdat) and the United States’ reserve Zeremonie (Laura Kraut).

Amarillo, Nino des Buissonnets and  Zeremonie passed on re-inspection. Eliot DWS will re-present tomorrow.
