Hasslers Leave Hilltop

cott and Susanne Hassler will leave Hilltop Farm in Colora, Md. at the end of 2006.

The husband and wife team spent the last 15 years at Hilltop Farm, developing and managing the breeding business, training the young horses and training riders.  Scott was the training director at Hilltop, and Susanne rode Hilltop Farm’s Royal Prince, a Hanoverian stallion, to the USEF/Markel Young Horse Dressage National Championship in 2004.  This year, Scott was named the USEF National Young Horse Dressage Coach.

Hilltop’s owner, Jane MacElree, remains committed to Hilltop’s future and to quality service.  “With our experienced and successful staff, first class facilities and the Select Breeders Service facility on the premises, Hilltop Farm remains uniquely able to serve the needs of active breeders, stallion owners, and serious dressage riders,” she stated in a press release.  

When Scott and Susanne leave, other Hilltop employees will step into their places.  Tami Glover and Michael Bragdell will take over the training and starting services, Richard Malmgren will handle sales, Melissa Wortman will be the contact for breeding services, Jessi Liverman will be in charge of the raising services and Nancy Parker will be the head of the stable and horse management department.
