McLain Ward and Sapphire anchored the U.S. team at Rotterdam. Their two four-fault rounds were the best of the U.S. performances in the Samsung Super League Nations Cup, where the team finished eighth.

Albert Zoer had a rollercoaster week at Rotterdam. First, his top horse, Okidoki, bit his stall door and got his teeth stuck. When he panicked and pulled away, he pulled out four of his teeth. The Dutch chef d’equipe, Rob Ehrens, predicts Okidoki will recover. Zoer finished Rotterdam by riding Sam (pictured) to the win in the Longines Grand Prix of Rotterdam.

Laura Kraut and Cedric jumped to third place in the Longines Grand Prix of Rotterdam.
