The EQUUS Foundation and HEART Equine Ambulance are partnering to provide emergency equine service and transport at the “AA-Rated” Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show, which will be held on Tuesday-Saturday, June 19-23, 2012 on the grounds of the historic Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, Conn.
Humane Equine Aid & Rapid Transport is a member of the EQUUS Foundation Alliance, established in August 2011 to recognize the contributions of organizations involved in the equine community whose activities and programs complement and enhance the mission of The EQUUS Foundation.
“Underwriting the costs of bringing the HEART Equine Ambulance to the Fairfield Show is a perfect example of how the EQUUS Foundation Alliance is working with national organizations in the equine community to promote horse welfare,” said Dr. Richard Mitchell of Fairfield Equine Associates and EQUUS Foundation Board Member. Fairfield Equine Associates provides veterinary services at the show.
