The 25 finalists in this evening’s ASG Software Solutions/USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals jogged for soundness today, Aug. 22. Led by one of this evening’s judges, Julie Winkel, the ground jury accepted all the horses, though several were asked to represent.
This evening’s classic round kicks off at 6:30 p.m. over Bobby Murphy and Patrick Rodes’ course. Twelve finalists will be invited back for a handy trip, which should start around 8:00.
The finalists qualified based on their performance in yesterday’s qualifying round and return with a clean slate. The order of go was determined by a random drawing yesterday evening.
