Elkton, Md.—Oct. 16

Twenty-one horses will move forward to the show jumping at the Mars Maryland 5 Star this afternoon.

All horses presented in the final horse inspection passed in front of the ground jury of Christian Landolt, Gretchen Butts and Judy Hancock, but there was a tense moment when Hannah Sue Hollberg’s 19-year-old Harbour Pilot, competing in his final event before retirement, was held. He passed on re-inspection.

Canada’s Lisa Marie Fergusson did not present Honor Me.

Tamie Smith was asked to present Danito twice, and Harry Meade jogged Jennie Brannigan’s horses Twilightslastgleam and FE Lifestyle. He was asked to jog FE Lifestyle a second time.
