What You Need To Know: 2018 Capital Challenge Horse Show

PUBLISHED

The opening salvo of the fall indoor season started Friday, Sept. 28, with Capital Challenge‘s equitation weekend, but there’s plenty more action to come. Riders from across the country have flocked to Upper Marlboro, Maryland, for the crown jewel of the World Champion Hunter Rider program. The competition continues through Sunday Oct. 7.

The biggest classes of the show run Wednesday night and Friday night when professionals go head-to-head for bragging rights (and money), first in the WCHR Professional and Developing Pro Challenge classes on Wednesday, then in the WCHR Pro Finals—the class where pros take turns riding each others’ other horses.
