Beth grew up showing hunters and jumpers outside of Syracuse, N.Y. She attended school at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where she earned her degree in communications and also fell in love with the sport of eventing.

After a five-year stop in southern Pennsylvania, she moved south again and began work at the Chronicle in May of 2012. When she’s not at the office she can be found riding her friend’s Oldenburg, Cabrio, doing a Crossfit workout or playing rugby.
