Calgary, Alberta, Canada—Sept. 8  

Day 2 of the Spruce Meadows Masters included two feature competitions in the International Ring at Spruce Meadows. The ATCO Founders Classic 1.50-meter was the first competition of the day with a win for Pedro Veniss of Brazil and For Felicila. The CANA Cup 1.60-meter class wrapped up the afternoon with victory for Roger-Yves Bost from France and Quod'Coeur de la Loge.

Calgary, Alberta—Sept. 7  

The Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament CSIO5* began on Wednesday with first-time wins in the famous International Ring for both Lorenzo de Luca of Italy and Steve Guerdat of Switzerland.

De Luca kept his recent winning streak alive with a victory in the Akita Drilling Cup 1.60-meter class aboard Limestone Grey. Guerdat took the first win of the day riding Albfuehren’s Happiness in the Telus Cup 1.50-meter.

The Spruce Meadows Masters, the second leg of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping this year, is being staged in Calgary, Alberta, on Sept. 7-11. German rider Philipp Weishaupt scored a huge win in the Rolex Grand Slam event the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen (Germany) aboard LB Convall in July.

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the athletes who will represent the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team in the BMO Nations Cup on Saturday, Sept. 10, during the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' CSIO***** Tournament in Calgary, Alberta. Robert Ridland will serve as the chef d’equipe.

Kent Farrington and Gazelle scored their second major win at Spruce Meadows in as many weeks as they topped the coveted $500,000 ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup during the North American’ Tournament CSI5*, presented by Rolex.

Jumping clear through three rounds of competition, Farrington and Gazelle emerged victorious over Elizabeth Gingras of Canada and Zilversprings in second, and Eric Lamaze of Canada aboard Check Picobello Z third.
