Robert Dover and FBW Kennedy won the Grand Prix for the freestyle (73.12%) and finished second in the Grand Prix freestyle (81.42%) at the Lingen CDI, Lingen, Germany, Aug. 5-8, the final Olympic prep for the U.S. dressage riders. Andreas Helgstrand of Denmark was second in the Grand Prix and then won the freestyle (81.45%). Lisa Wilcox, on her less-experienced Grand Prix mount Royal Diamond, was seventh (68.16%) and then 13th in the freestyle (68.05%).
