Three, not two, American riders will now compete in the 5-year-old division of the 2004 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, Verden, Germany, July 9-11.
Hilltop Farm's Royal Prince, with Susanne Hassler riding, and Iron Spring Farm's Sir Sinclair, with Dorie Addy-Crow, qualified for Verden by earning the championship and reserve championship respectively in the USEF/Markel Insurance Young Horse Selection Trials, held May 29-30 at three U.S. sites.
