Nice! I've been thinking of getting a tattoo for a year or two now, and one of the designs in the running is some kind of line drawing of a horse and rider jumping. I would love something along my ribcage, but I've been told that's one of the most painful places and not a good idea for a first tattoo.

                  Thanks for the compliments!

It took about an hour and the outline was the worst part. And actually the back legs were the most painful, not the ribcage. During the outline I was shaking and had a death grip on the table then when he started filling it in I noticed I didn't have a death grip anymore and the shaking stopped. I didn't cry or anything and the end result is so worth it!

That was because your body finally kicked in and blocked some of the pain. It's normal, happens to the majority of people who gets tattoos

Oh, and nice tat. I have the same one on my back.

TheJenners, yeah I forgot to mention that was probably a big part of it too LOL. The vibration of the tattoo gun just starts to make it go numb I think.
Post a pic of yours! I wanna see!

wow do I feel like a big baby!! I have a heart with a dressage horse coming out of one side and a jumper going through it above my breast. But it's just barely bigger than a quarter.
Beautiful tat, wish I had the courage.

I LOVE it, what a great design.

I have the Trakehner logo on my lower back and I remember that the outline hurt like hell! Filling it in was not that bad and I need to get it filled in again. I love my purple moose antlers though.

I have a tatoo above my right hip. The first thing I thought was OUCH. OUCH. OUCH.

Then the second thing I thought was COOL. It's really neat!

Then the third thing I thought was Oh My, that horse is going to get mighty "flat" over that jump if she has a baby
