  • has your horse been invited to attend a high schools Home Coming ?

Daughter got a request for Romeo to attend the high school home coming. This is the miniature that has been to the school nearly yearly for the photography class . At first it was all undisclosed, slip the lad in then back out. That was the way it was for a few years, then the class won some awards of their photos of the Horse, which brought his presence to the attention of some district personal.

Not much has been said since a few years ago the principal went before the school board to tell them there was going to be a horse in His Building and everything was OK

Which some how has lead to this invitation for Romeo to attend Home Coming ... I guess the students see him as one of them?

he is a Lover, he never played ball

purely my guess is that he makes the kids feel different...it is an inner-city school where few have ever been around "horse"

the kids think his Boots are cute... after looking at the Cost of slip on boots made for miniature (about $190 per set of four) wife found out some owners use the Build A Bear combat boots on their minies... so we got some and they fit as thought hey were made for him. Without the boots the tile floors are really a challenge.

if look closely at the photo above you can see his Boots

He could be the "crown bearer" for the homecoming court!

Never homecoming, but I was in high school for the first Earth Day (1970) and a couple of us with horses, who lived close to the school, were invited to lead the march of students from the village green to the school.
