  • help with locating a place to buy fancy stitched OVER-SIZED reins???? to match an Aramas bridle?

I need help. Looking to locate replacement reins for my trainers Aramas bridle. My horse stepped on the reins at a show the other day and broke them. Issue being they were oversized, as in over the standard 54 inches. I believe they are 60 inch reins. I have googled and googled and really haven't found any of decent quality to replace them with. Anyone have any suggestions? I am planning on talking to my local tack store in hopes she can help as well.

Check with Leah at Redwood Tack, she might have something. Also, Tenney's Saddlery carries the Aramas line, they might be able to order you replacement Aramas reins.

Were they plain laced or fancy stitched? I have a pair of plain laced from an Aramas bridle that I haven’t used in a while. I will measure if you are interested.

Not sure of the brand, but check out these X-Long reins:

ETA: Oops! Didn't see that these weren't fancy stitched. But they do have the double leather at the bit rings, and they might be the right color.

Ebay- I have found some really nice extra long reins there. The curb reins are harder to find.

JustBridles.com still has a pair of Aramas oversize reins on her liquidation list that might work, although they don't have fancy stitching. I have a pair like these and it doesn't send my detail-oriented, wanting everything to match self into conniptions. They are only $33 so I would buy them just because. .
