  • White Ovation Aqua X?

Has anyone tried the Ovation Aqua X breeches in white? I have a pair in grey that I love, and now the whites are on sale on Riding Wearhouse in my size... not sure if they'll be see through, though. Have you tried them? Please let me know what you think!

Or, conversely, if you know of another pair of white breeches that you love currently available somewhere in the sub-$100 category, I'm also open to those suggestions. I'm a hunter/jumper/foxhunter starting to do some novice eventing and low level dressage, so I can happily keep wearing my tan breeches for a while, but I'm also casually shopping for a pair of whites.

I love Ovation breeches! They fit my 5'6" average proportioned body very well and wear like iron. I have the Celebrity DX in white/grey full seat for showing. Cannot comment on the Aqua X, but the nice thing about Riding Warehouse is that anything over $50 ships free both ways, so there's no risk in ordering and maybe finding you don't like the fit.
Savor those rides where you feel like a million bucks, because there will be those where you feel like a cheap date...

I've had a pair of them in white for the last year or more. I love them - use for show, dont seem to be see-thru IMO. they get some black on the knee area, but otherwise fine, I would buy again, for sure.

I think I'm the only person who dislikes these breeches. I have been showing in the whites for a year or so. They're not see-through and I like the tan-ish full seat, but dang they do not fit me well.

Thank you guys! The consensus seems to be not see through, and since I know I like the fit of these breeches already, I'm going to go for it!

I love love love my white aqua x fullseats. Super tmi, but I had a terrible period stain the last time I showed, and it scrubbed out well enough with hand soap in thirty seconds for me to wear the next day. Magical, I tell you.
