  • OTTB prospect critique!

I am going to see this 2015 OTTB filly 15.3h, raced once, finished dead last. I would be purchasing her as an UL event horse with the potential for resale (everything is for sale for the right price right?).

    Here is her breeding:

From what I could see in the pictures I like her very much.
i would be curious to know why they are selling her, she is nicely bred and I would think she might have potential as a broodmare.
i took a quick look at her pedigree and both her dam is a graded stakes winner as is her mother ,and of course Awesome Again was a Breeders Cup winner and has been a very good sire for quite some time.
If she vets then you might have quite a find!

From what I understand she is painfully slow (watching her race video I believe it), and looking at her dams offspring none of them earned anything significant. These connections tend to do right by the horse so I am hoping that is the story but who really knows.

Lol I should have looked at her dam's produce record!
Great for you she has good connections, she really is nice, good luck!

If you are new here to COTH be careful about posting 'finds.' Unless your connections are solid and you have the fastest truck and trailer. The internet is searchable!

She's lovely and someone else might think so also.

            Ah, she is beautiful!

From the photos it looks like she is at Golden Gate Fields. Yes, please go get her before I do....
            I just started a blog!

I only ride at the lower levels but I love her! Lovely build/type and mover. She also has quite a bit of presence. If she has a good temperament and vets fine I think it's fairly safe to move forward because if she doesn't have the UL chops I'm sure she could at a minimum be a solid resale for someone with "lower" goals.

I think she is stunning, and agree, she has a presence about her. Let us know if you get her!

she was posted on facebook and pretty much everyone said go buy her. If she wasn't across the country I would have already bought her.
