  • Buckskin pony name ideas

I am having trouble coming up with a cute barn name for a small buckskin pony. Does anyone have any ideas?! He has a blaze and two socks). I think food names (snickerdoodle, Cheerio, waffles etc are cute but looking for some other ideas as nothing is sticking. Thanks

How about posting a picture of said pony, easier to find a name then.

We had a buckskin called Skippy.
One dun little horse called Trouble.

                Chicory
                Basil

Is anyone else old enough to remember Nestle Quik's name-a-pony contest?

My Faux Grandson just got a buckskin mini with some mini-famous bloodlines from a stud named (Something) Buckaroo.

Being Old, I suggested Buckaroo Banzai as a show name.
He had never heard of the movie, but agreed to the name.
Unfortunately, he is pronouncing it Bonzi (as in Ponzi Scheme) <headdesk>

Help yourself to the correct pronunciation.
Old - 1980s - people will get it.

Thanks for the ideas! There are some really cute ones. I will try to upload a picture of him later. I would consider him more of buttermilk buckskin in terms of colors.

You guys are obsessed with food names (as I am).

I did know a pony names Legally Blonde, but she was a palomino.

The best horse I have ever owned/ridden was my buckskin pony mare named Cisco. Yes, she had a boy's name, but she pulled it off.

Coincidentally I owned a horse named Two Socks at the same time, so I looked like a big Dances with Wolves fan, but I didn't name either horse and didn't buy them for their names either...just weird how some things work sometimes.
