  • Attitudes towards Helmet Use Survey

Would you like to contribute to research on helmet use in equine disciplines? And possibly win gift certificates, helmets, or books?
Researchers at the University of Oklahoma are interested in exploring factors influencing helmet use in equestrians. This survey should take around 20 minutes. We appreciate your participation! At the conclusion of the research, you will have opportunity to enter raffles for helmets, gift certificates, or Cowboy Dressage books.

Please feel free to share with any of your contacts who would be interested in helping with our research!
Copy and paste the link below to access the survey.
Direct questions to Jessica Black (
    Thank you!

It would have been better if the survey had separated out questions to determine your opinion on at home vs at competitions. For example, I believe everyone technically has the right to choose to wear a helmet at home (unless their boarding stable requires one), but helmets should be mandatory at all competitions of all disciplines.

Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.

You call it boxed wine. I call it carboardeaux.
