Sara has had a variety of roles at the Chronicle since she began as an intern at the end of 2003. She spends most of her time editing, organizing and managing the website.

A graduate "C-3" from Penobscot Pony Club (Maine), she spent a year working for Denny Emerson before attending Amherst College (Massachusetts) and is now learning the sport from the ground up by training her own horses. She and her husband, Eric, and children, Zachary and Hannah, share their 20-acre farm with two dogs, two cats, and an ever-changing number of horses.
