This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track Administrative/Professional faculty appointment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. General responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain equestrian horses (~30) and research herd (~30); completion of activities involved with record-keeping, daily animal care, feed procurement, maintenance needs, breeding, stallion handling, foaling, handling of young horses, and merchandising stock; create and maintain a safe work environment; assist with laboratories, Extension programs and workshops; work closely and collaboratively with the College of Veterinary Medicine to maintain herd health and biosecurity. Strong communication skills that provide effective leadership and oversight to students, interns and assistant managers.
