CAMP MONT SHENANDOAH, a small, traditional, summer camp for girls with an excellent English riding program and located in the mountains of Virginia, seeks a Riding Director for the summer. The ideal candidate will have skill and experience in overseeing a horseback riding program.
Specific requirements for the position include:
• Ability to plan and conduct safe and fun horseback riding lessons.
• Ability to manage and supervise quality horse & barn care.
• Ability to manage and supervise a small staff.
• Good character and excellent judgment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable, mature, responsible, honest, flexible and focused on horse and human safety.
• A sense of humor is always helpful.
• A bachelor’s degree
• First Aid and CPR certifications a big plus.
• Summer camp work experience a big plus.

This is a six-day a week position from mid-June through mid-August. Pay commensurate with skill & experience. Housing is available.
