Far West Farms (FWF) specializes in hunter/jumper/equitation on a multitude of levels and has been a leader in the sport longer than almost any other establishment. We’ve proven over and over that there’s no substitute for experience and dedication. Our focus on building a partnership between horse and rider is based on communication and understanding. This philosophy has garnered a high level of success in the show ring, year after year.
Nick Karazissis, the owner/operator of FWF, since 1971 welcomes riders of all ages and abilities to share the love for horses and show competition. We are, first and foremost, a family barn. People who rode with us as children now bring their own children to ride. Clients stay for years, and generations of families ride together. Friendships made at FWF last long after our riders go off to college, and raise families of their own.
This instructor role requires equine experience with teaching, training, and competing in horse shows at beginner-intermediate levels, with the capability to progress riders up the ranks. Current positions are available for both full-time and part-time. Must be able to help students progress to higher levels of riding through the Far West Farms program. Please also provide a recent video of yourself riding and/or training if possible.
