The Middleburg Agricultural Research and Extension Center (AREC), a Virginia Tech facility located in Middleburg VA, seeks to employ an agricultural specialist. The primary job responsibilities are working with current staff to maintain a large farming and equine enterprise. The successful applicant should have demonstrated skills in horse handling, forage production, pasture maintenance, farm equipment maintenance and repair and general facilities upkeep. Self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills, livestock and farm maintenance experience and an interest in equine facility management decisions are encouraged to apply.
