Marydell Farm is in search of a team member. This is a full time position. We are a Hanoverian breeding farm with young performance horses and foals. We are located in Columbus, NC, 10 miles from Tryon International Equestrian Center- home to the 2018 World Equestrian Games.
We stand Don Principe, David Bowie MF and have a third stallion at Hilltop Farm-Debonair MF. Our riding horses are from age 3 to 7. We do breed, foal out and raise our offspring. The farm is 33 acres and an outdoor arena.
The ideal candidate will have foal handling experience, be a groom for our in house rider, handle all ages for vet and farrier, feed, blanket, turn out, show prep braiding is a plus, drive a 2 horse trailer, may also drive a 4 horse if capable. Some riding including trail, ability to lunge and long line are expected. Bonus if you have ridden to the FEI level, although not a requirement. Work ethic and pride in what you do and being part of our team is a must.
There may be opportunities to show based on ability.
