Raising and Rehabilitation Department Head Groom

A fantastic opportunity to join an established breeding farm with a nationally recognized sales program! Iron Spring Farm is looking for a team player who enjoys working with Friesian and Warmblood horses to fill a full-time Head Groom position with a focus on weanling, yearling and two-year-old sporthorses. Candidate should display good communication skills, be self-motivated, and be comfortable within a busy environment. Extensive knowledge of properly handling young horses, sales prepping, and identifying health and lameness concerns is required. Opportunity to prep for and attend breed shows and keurings. Additional duties to include working closely with managers and other crew members to fulfill daily chores and horse care which includes but not limited to mucking stalls, feeding, bringing in, turning out and helping to foal out mares.

Fluency in Spanish a plus.
