FPH Maxwelton’s Robertson

FEATURED

FPH Maxwelton’s Robertson

Registered Canadian Warmblood Foaled July 2016 Currently standing 16.2hh

We call him Bob. He was started under saddle in the fall of 2020. Solid walk trot canter. He was also trained in long lining. During the last month we began to introduce him to fences. Using gymnastic grids and making him stop at the end of the grid so he becomes obedient. He is currently schooling 2-2’6″, cross rails and verticals in a variety of patterns. As our ring is small for the winter we will be concentrating on flat work. Occasionally with a gymnastic grid pattern. He has not been shown. Please visit the website www.maxweltonranch.ca to see more training of him and other horses we have for sale.

Sire:
FPH Maxwelton
Max is our resident stallion. His foals are just beginning to be worked under saddle. They show fine hunter movement with 3 efficient gaits. Max was licensed by Canadian Warmblood scoring 2nd in Canada for that licensing year with 9’s in jumping. A lovely well behaved stallion.

Maxwelton is by Viva Voltaire out of FPH Jenna/Jumars/Zeoliet/ Ramiro Z.

DAM:
DESIRE
A big bodied chestnut mare. Standing 17hh Beautiful large swinging trot. When inspected by Canadian Warmblood she received premium scores. She was shown at local shows in dressage at the lower levels and used as a school horse before broodmare duties.

DAM SIRE: DEUTSCHMEISTER

QUOTED FROM THE CAMELOT WEBSITE

“DEUTSCHMEISTER
The offspring sired by Deutschmeister and produced from a variety of types of mares, score extremely well at the Oldenburg Inspections every year. Deutschmeister has sired many successful dressage horses, show hunters, show jumpers and three day eventers in his years of stallion duties. Deutschmeister consistently passes on his elegant body type, extravagant movement and a temperament that is wonderful to work with. He is known for the ease with which his offspring can be trained. As a result, he has sired many horses that compete successfully year after year for their amateur riders.
He has sired several horses that have dramatically changed their competitive focus mid-career. These horses have proven to be equally successful in the dressage arena as well as the hunter ring.
The changes in these particular horses lives were merely a reflection of the priority of their current owner or rider, while at the same time showing the versatility of Deutschmeister’s sons and daughters.”

The Dam of Desire: IZABELLA a Registered Trakenher mare. By Thorn / Donafurst out of Tosca / Harnisch from the Trakhner stud book

Deutschmeister during his breeding career had one of the highest percentage of his premium foals with scores of 8.5 or better in the Oldenburg ISR Registry.
