Equine Visiting Instructor

A nationally known Equine Business Management program at Cazenovia College, a small co-educational college in Central New York, invites applications for a renewable full time Visiting Instructor Term Appointment for 2021-2022 academic year.
The Equine Business Management program is a specialization within the Management Division’s Bachelor of Professional Studies management degree, an IACBE accredited program. Teaching responsibilities include: lecture and laboratory courses in the Equine Business Management program such as Equine Nutrition, Equine Anatomy and Physiology, Equine Reproductive Management and other Equine courses as needed. Additional duties to include student advisement, course development, scholarship/professional development, committee work, solicitation of horse donations, liaison with the industry, and service to the College.

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree (MS or PhD in Animal Science/Equine Science preferred) with prior teaching experience, preferably in an Equine Science/Equine Studies/Equine Business Management program. Prior participation in the performance horse or sport horse industries is also preferred.
